Series 1200BV-ANS/230 Anaesthetic Variable Area Flowmeter
This version of the MPB Series 1200BV-ANS/230 Flowmeter is manufactured exclusively to house an anaesthetic 230mm standard length flow tube and will give an instantaneous flow rate of the standard anaesthetic gases.
The MPB Series 1200BV-ANS/230 Anaesthetic Flowmeter has an overall length of 300mm, with process centres of 275mm. This flowmeter is also available as a 1200BV-ANS/138 which has an overall length of 210mm and process centres of 185mm.
Normally the flow tube supplied exhibits dual scale calibration whereby the first third of the flow range is dedicated to 0.1-1 L/min and, for example, 2-10 L/min would be a linear scale for the remainder of the scale length.
The flow tube is fully conductive, both internally and externally, and is compliant to the international standard for human and veterinary anaesthesia flow measurement.
The flow tube utilises serial numbered floats and flow tubes to guard against incorrect reassembly when cleaning. In addition, the float exhibits a white dot so that the operator can clearly see the rotation.
